This Service Disclaimer and Property Access Policy applies to all services performed by Marion Pumpers, Inc.
By scheduling or accepting service, the property owner or authorized representative agrees to the following terms.
Septic Tank Location and Access
Customers are responsible for identifying or marking the location of the septic tank and access lids prior to our arrival whenever possible.
If the septic tank location is unknown, our technicians may assist in locating it. Additional charges may apply for locating services, probing, or digging.
Marion Pumpers, Inc. is not responsible for damage to landscaping, sod, irrigation lines, or decorative features that may occur while locating or accessing septic system components.
Buried or Covered Tanks
If septic lids or access points are buried, additional labor and digging charges may apply. Customers are responsible for restoring landscaping, soil, mulch, or decorative coverings after service is completed.
Tank Condition and Structural Integrity
Septic tanks, lids, risers, and related components may deteriorate over time. Marion Pumpers, Inc. is not responsible for damage caused by:
- Weak or deteriorated tank lids
- Rusted or damaged steel tanks
- Pre-existing cracks or structural failures
- Unsafe tank conditions discovered during service
If a tank lid or structure is determined to be unsafe, our technicians may refuse to open or service the tank for safety reasons.
System Failures
Pumping a septic tank does not guarantee that the septic system will function properly after service. Marion Pumpers, Inc. is not responsible for system failures related to:
- Drain field problems
- Blocked or collapsed pipes
- Improper system design or installation
- Excessive water usage
- Tree root intrusion
- Existing septic system damage
Property and Safety Conditions
Customers must ensure that service areas are reasonably accessible to service vehicles and equipment.
Marion Pumpers, Inc. is not responsible for damage resulting from:
- Soft ground conditions
- Hidden obstacles
- Unmarked utilities
- Limited access areas
Pets and Property Hazards
Customers must secure pets and inform our staff of any potential hazards on the property before service begins.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless prior arrangements have been made. Additional charges may apply for extra labor, difficult access, emergency service, or unforeseen site conditions.
Acceptance of Terms
By requesting service from Marion Pumpers, Inc., the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Service Disclaimer and Property Access Policy.
